KIYONE is our personal interpretation on a sense of comfort portrayed in a form of Matcha, made possible by thoughtfully blending four distinct types of tea cultivars; Asanoka, Saemidori, Okumidori and Yabukita each embodying their own unique flavour characteristics.

This blend is crafted to express a perfect harmony of five key taste dimensions — vegetal umami, toasted nuttiness, a touch of bitterness, gentle astringency and smooth creaminess.

RECIPE



1. Iced Matcha Latte – 125 mL

Mix ingredients below with ASAGAO Bamboo Whisk until no visible clumps:

a. Fresh Milk – 75 mL

b. Sugar Syrup (1:1 Ratio) – 15 mL / 2 to 3 teaspoon

c. KIYONE / Matcha Powder – 6.5g / 2 teaspoon + 1/2 teaspoon

Pour the mixture above into 50 mL of fresh milk with ice for a cold latte.


2. Hot Matcha Tea – 150 mL

Mix ingredients below with ASAGAO Bamboo Whisk until no visible clumps:

a. KIYONE / Matcha Powder – 3g

b. Water (Temp – 75c) – 50 mL

Pour the mixture above into a 100 mL of warm water and mix gently again.
