When will the matcha powder expire?
Once opened, it is best to consume your matcha powder within 6 months in its freshest condition. However, it can last up to 1 year if kept in the following conditions:
– Store in the refrigerator before and after opening.
– Always seal tight and keep away from light, heat, air and moisture to avoid oxidation.
If unopened, please refer to the expiry date on the packaging.
Can I use a spoon to mix matcha powder?
It is not recommend to use a spoon as matcha powder will not be mixed evenly. To ensure the matcha powder is mixed evenly in the liquid, please use the proper tea tools such as a bamboo whisk or electric mixer.
How many cups of matcha should I drink a day?
It is recommended to drink not more than 3 cups a day.

100% finely grounded premium green tea leaves (powder form). NO ADDED SUGAR

Storage note
Seal tight and store in the refrigerator before and after opening. Keep away from moisture, sunlight, and odors.
Best Before
Recommended to consume within 2 months after opening when AJISAI / Matcha powder is in its freshest condition.
RECIPES
Hot Matcha Latte – 8oz Cup
Mix ingredients below with ASAGAO Bamboo Whisk until no visible clumps:
a. Room Temp. Water – 20mL
b. Sugar Syrup (1:1 Ratio) – 15 mL / 2 to 3 teaspoon
c. AJISAI / Matcha Powder – 6g / 2 teaspoon + 1/2 teaspoon
Steam the milk (+-150ml) to around 60c and pour 1/3 of the steamed milk into the Matcha mixture above. Then, mix evenly with ASAGAO / Chasen whisk.
Finally, pour the rest of the steamed milk into the cup.
Iced Matcha Latte – 150 mL
Mix ingredients below with ASAGAO Bamboo Whisk until no visible clumps:
a. Fresh Milk – 70 mL or 1/3 cup
b. Sugar Syrup (1:1 Ratio) – 15 mL / 2 to 3 teaspoon
c. AJISAI / Matcha Powder – 6g / 2 teaspoon + 1/2 teaspoon
Pour the mixture above into 50 mL fresh milk with ice for cold latte.
Hot Matcha Tea – 150 mL
Mix ingredients below with ASAGAO Bamboo Whisk until no visible clumps:
a. AJISAI / Matcha Powder – 1.5g
b. Water (Temp – 70c) – 50 mL
Pour the mixture above into a 100 mL of warm water and mix gently again
Iced Matcha Tea – 200 mL
Mix ingredients below with ASAGAO Bamboo Whisk until no visible clumps:
a. Room Temp / Cold water – 50mL
b. AJISAI / Matcha powder – 3g or 1 tbs
Pour the mixture above into a serving cup with 100mL of water with ice.
