After years of working together, NIKO NEKO / MATCHA is honoured to be officially appointed by Tango Tanimura, the 20th-generation master Chasen craftsman from Nara, Japan, as his exclusive distributor outside Japan.
For the first time ever, Tango Tanimura’s original handcrafted tea tools are now available through his official online shop under NIKO NEKO / MATCHA official e-commerce platforms.

- Collaboration Shiratake Mizuyasaji – The first-ever ladle co-created with NIKO NEKO, hand-dipped in Marked/Red for a distinctive, functional design.
- Susudake / Rare Smoked Bamboo Chasen – A masterpiece of extreme rarity, hand-carved from ancient smoked bamboo once used in traditional Japanese homes. Each whisk is shaped from bamboo naturally smoked for generations above open irori hearths; a material so scarce that few artisans today have the skill or access to craft it.
- Shiratake / Shin Kazuho Chasen (Multi-Tone) – Signature rounded whisk form, handwoven with layered threads in Marked/Red, Ash/White and Blue.
- Shiratake / Shin Kazuho Chasen (Single Tone) – Signature rounded whisk form, handwoven with a single-colored thread in Burgundy, Purple & Orange.
